Once your domain name has resolved to our web server you can access your control panel by going to your domain and typing in /cpanel - then enter your login info:

 Mail and Web Mail shortcut - This is the Main Menu for E-mail Functions, which include:
 Web Mail - Use Web-Mail to send / receive email from any computer in the world with an internet connection. The interface is similar to Yahoo and Hotmail, with more features. You get 3 Web-Mail Programs:

To access your "Catchall" email account:

- Email Domain Forwarding - A Domain Forwarder redirects all mail from any of your domains to another domain. For example, if you setup bob.com to redirect sam.com, any email send to any address at bob.com will be sent to the corresponding user at sam.com (bob@bob.com would be sent to bob@sam.com).
- Manage / Add / Remove Accounts Here you will find one email account which is your "Catch-All" email address. All unrouted mail for your Domain is handled by your "Catch-All" email address. This account uses the same username and password as your Cpanel login (not the full email address like other email accounts).
- Add Account - This is where you create New Email Accounts, or delete accounts, or modify the password or quota for any email accounts.
Note: any accounts created need the full email address as a username when configuring your email program, i.e., info@domain.com's username would be "info@domain.com", not just "info".
- Show Disk Space Used - tells you how much Disk Space your stored email is taking up on the server. Make sure this never reaches the quota or mail will stop working. You should check this regularly if you are only using WebMail.
- Default Address (Catch-All)- you can set up a global forwarding system that will send all unrouted email for your Domain to any email address you like... such as your Yahoo email account, etc. If you have set up any email accounts or forwarders, their email will not be sent to your default address (since they are routed)
- Autoresponders- Use this to send a reply automatically whenever you receive an email to that account. You create an Auto-Responder for that email by filling in the account / subject / and Text Message box. You message will automatically be sent when you receive an email at that address. You have UNLIMITED Autoresponders.
- E-mail Filtering- Use this to block unwanted Spam mail by setting up email filters. You can block email addresses, entire domains, or block mail with abusive keywords. Easy, and effective. You can set up UNLIMITED E-mail Filters
- Forwarders- Set up email addresses to automatically forward mail to another address, such as a hotmail account, etc. You can set up UNLIMITED Forwarders.
- Mailing Lists- Use this to set up email lists for subscription / newsletters / updates, etc. People can opt-in by entering their email address, which is automatically saved to an SQL database. Each list can hold up to 1000 addresses. More on the Mailman script can be found here.
- Spam Assassin- Controls your Spam automatically by using a wide range of heuristic algorithms on mail headers and message body text to identify "SPAM" (unsolicited email). Once identified, the mail is tagged as SPAM for later filtering using the user's desktop mail client.
- Trace an E-mail Address - Find out where an email address originates from.
- Modify Mail Exchanger (MX Entry) - Allows you to host your email elsewhere.

 Use this to change the password for your hosting account and Cpanel login. Keep in mind you will also need to change the password on your FTP program to match, or you will not be able to upload any files. You will also need to change your settings in Outlook Express for your "Catch All" Email account. Make sure to write down your new password, and try not to pick one that is too easy. If you forget your password, we can always assign you a new one, but we have no way of retrieving your lost password, once you have changed it.
Parked Domains and Addon Domains
 Parked Domains - Domain pointers allow you to "point" or "park" additional domain names to your
existing hosting account. This will allow users to also reach your website when entering the "parked" or "pointed" domain into their browsers. Available in all Plans except Starter.
 Addon Domains - Addon Domains are domain names that point to subdirectories within your account. You must first create a Sub-domain, then you can "Addon" any registered Domain to point to that Sub-domain. i.e. instead of http://shopping.yourdomain.com you could "Addon" any Domain to access your "shopping" Sub-domain!
 FTP Manager - This is the Main Menu for FTP Functions, which include:
- FTP Accounts - The FTP account utility allows you to control FTP accounts and quotas for your users, or if your account has subdomains you can create FTP accounts with separate logins and passwords for your subdomain(s). Note: the ftp login/username will be the full email address automatically created.
- Change Password - If you have set up an FTP account, you assigned a username and password for login - that password can be changed anytime.
- Raw Access Logs - This page also lists all the URL's for your FTP accounts to download your raw access logs.
- Setup Anonymous FTP Access - Here you can change how anonymous FTP users should be treated and change the anonymous upload policy as well.
- Anonymous FTP Message - You can edit the anonymous FTP welcome message that users will see when they login to your FTP site.
- FTP Session Control - This utility allows you to disconnect users or timed out FTP sessions.
 File Manager - May be used in place of FTP or HTML editors to:
- Upload Files - The File Manager may be used in place of FTP to upload files from your computer to your hosting account. All files must go into your public_html folder.
1) Find the link "public_html" and click on it
2) then click it's folder  to see the files
3) then click on the  Upload file(s) link
4) click on the Browse buttons to find files
5) click "Upload" to copy the files to your website
- Create/ Edit/ Delete Files - First a file must be created - to create a file:
1) click on the Create New File link
2) in the upper right enter a name for the file
3) choose what kind of a file you are creating
4) click the "Create" button
5) now click on the file you just created to display more options:
- Show File - opens up the file to preview
- Delete File - moves the file into the Trash bin
- Edit File - Displays the HTML code for the file which can then be altered and saved as the new version.
- Change Permissions - set chmod values for read / write / execute
- Rename File - use to rename
- Copy File - use to copy the file to another location on your site
- Move File - use to move the file to another location on your site
- Html Editor - opens up the Web Page Editor (Pro Edit) to allow easy editing of web pages - simple to use, and very powerful. Pro Edit has 3 Modes:
- Design - opens up the file to edit in a visual mode, using a MS Word style of interface. You can add / change text, fonts, size, color, bold, italics, center, add tables, images, create links, and much more. To save your edited version, just click
 (Save) - No FTP Needed!
- HTML Code - allows you to view / edit the HTML code directly
- Preview - opens up the page in a Web Browser Interface, so you can check your work before saving.
- File Url - displays the full address of that file to preview in your browser
Note: File Manager is great for people that don't have experience with HTML and FTP, but most people will prefer to use an FTP Program, such as WS_FTP (Free) to handle all their file uploading, and a HTML Editor like MS FrontPage or Dreamweaver to create and edit their web pages in.
 Disk Usage
This utility lists all of your folders and files and how much disk space they use. Once inside you will have options to Show Parent Directories, Show More Directory Depth, Show Less Directory Depth, Show Top Level, Clear File Usage Cache, Hide Small Files, and Show File Sizes as bytes (instead of Mb %)
 Backup
This utility enables you to create and restore a previously backed-up copy of your website. Please note that we perform automatic daily backups of all accounts on all our servers to a separate hard drive in each server. If you prefer to make your own, use the Backup for:
- Full Backups - Generate/ Download a Full Backup
- Home Directory - Download a home directory Backup

Password Protect Directories
 Password Protect Directories
Use this to prevent access to any folders in your website. You can easily add a Name to your Active Users List, assign that person a Username and Password, change their password, or delete a Name from your Active Users List.
 Error Pages - Create custom Error Pages
With this tool you can create custom error pages to display when a user enters a wrong URL, an outdated URL or when the user is not authorized to access a specific directory of your web space. Save each page as a web page with the .shtml extension. You can create them for the following:

Subdomains - "Create a "Website within a Website "
Use this to create Sub-domains inside your main account. A sub-domain acts like a web site within a web site, complete with it's own web stats, and can even have it's own Domain and FTP Account. This can be very effective to monitor traffic, keep your branding. If you wanted a sub domain for shopping, your address would be http://shopping.yourdomain.com
 MySQL Databases - Main Menu for MySQL Databases
A website becomes a powerful tool when combined properly with databases. SQL stands for Structured Query Language. SQL is a international standard in querying and retrieving information from databases, and mySQL is the Open Source (free) version of it.
- Creating a mySQL database - Use this to create a mySQL database by giving it a Name, adding a User, and Setting Permissions.
- Administer your databases using
 - After your database is created you can use phpMyAdmin to administrate your mySQL databases in a web based enviorment. For more information, faqs, examples, and forums visit their website at: http://www.phpmyadmin.net/.
phpMyAdmin lets you:
- Insert data into your database
- Create/ delete a table in your database
- Import an SQL file into your database
- Backup your MySQL databas
 PostgreSQL Databases - Main Menu for pgSQL Databases
PostgreSQL (pgSQL) is a new cross platform SQL database, labled as the The most advanced Open Source database system in the world! Similar to mySQL but with more control, features, and support. Can handle larger volumes of data.
After your database is created you can use phpPgAdmin to administrate your pgSQL databases in a web based enviorment. More information at: http://www.postgresql.org/

 Redirects
Use this function to instantly redirect a URL from one page to any other web address. This is much better than a re-direct script, and will not be detected by search engines.

 FrontPage Extentions
All our Hosting Plans come with FrontPage extensions pre-installed, unless you indicate on your Sign-Up form that you don't want them. You can manage your own FrontPage extensions by clicking on the Icon to uninstall them, re-install them or re-calculate links. Warning: Installing or Uninstalling FrontPage extensions will result in the loss of all .htaccess files in your web area. Any directories you have protected with Web Protect will become unprotected until you re-protect them.
 Web and FTP Stats - Main Menu for Web /FTP Statistics
Cpanel offers 8 kinds of web site statistics for traffic analysis, to assist you in monitoring visitors to and from your site, and making sure everything is running right.
- Analog - Analog produces a simple summary of all the people who have visited your site. It is fast and provides great lightweight statistics.
- Awstats - Awstats produces very nice stats, and a graphical format.
- Webalizer - Webalizer is a more complex stats program that produces a nice variety of charts and graphs about who has visited your site. This is probably the most popular stats engine available today.
- Webalizer Ftp - Analyze traffic to any additional FTP accounts you have set up.
- Subdomain Stats - This will show statistics for the subdomains on your account.
- Latest Visitors - This will show you the last 300 visitors who came to your site and some interesting information about them.
- Bandwidth - This will show how many bytes your account has transferred.
- Error Log - This will show errors in your site, images not loading, missing files, etc. This is very useful for debugging CGI scripts.
 Raw Access Logs
If you are really serious about analyzing your web traffic, you can download your Raw Access Logs to your local hard drive with one click. Files are in a GZ format and can be opened with WinZip, or interpreted with a Traffic Analyzer like WebLog Expert (free).
 Raw Log Manager - Manage where/ when your raw access logs are archived.
 Error Log - View the Last 300 Error Log Messages in reverse order. This can help you find broken links to pages, images, files, and scripts that aren't properly coded or have been moved.

If you have any Subdomains, Cpanel has 4 powerful programs that can be used to monitor your traffic / keywords / referrers, etc. to your Subdomains.

This feature will display the coding for your website to enable you to install 2 kinds of chatrooms in seconds. Just copy the HTML Code to install Entropy Chat, or if you prefer a Java Chat copy and paste the link that is given to any of your web pages.
PhpMyChat
PhpMyChat Installs an advanced PHP driven chat room with a single click. No coding required - just follow the prompts and voila' - instant PHP coded chat room. Please be aware that installing a PhpMyChat will use one database, and needs to be installed into a top level directory i.e. http://yourdomain.com/chat is a valid place to install the chatroom http://yourdomain.com/user/andy/chat is not.
 Bulletin Board - PhpBB - Shortcut Icon
This is a shortcut to PhpBB 2.011 Setup, which is located in the Cpanel Scripts Library. PhpBB is a high powered, fully scalable, and highly customizable Open Source bulletin board package that is used on thousands of websites. Installs with 1 Click. Please be aware that installing PhpBB will use one database, and needs to be installed into a top level directory i.e. http://yourdomain.com/phpBB is a valid place to install the forum, but http://yourdomain.com/user/andy/phpBB is not.
 CGI Center - Main Menu for pre-installed CGI Scripts
The following CGI Scripts are pre-installed and ready to use one your account:
- Simple CGI Wrapper - This is a CGI Wrapper that will allow you to run CGI Scripts with your User ID.
- Random HTML - This is a Random HTML generator. It picks a HTML string out of a list and inserts it in an SSI (Server Side Includes) enabled web page. This is useful for "Quote of the Moment", and other similar things.
- GuestBook - This is a just a simple guestbook for your visitors to view and sign.
- Advanced GuestBook - This guestbook is written in PHP and MySQL.
- Counter - You can create a counter to count how many visitors have been to your site. There are over 50 styles to choose from, and you can even customize them.
- Clock - This utility will create a real time java clock for your site.

- PHP-Nuke - PHP-Nuke is an advanced content management system.
- PhpWiki - PhpWiki is a site script where everyone can collaborate on the content.
- InvisionBoard- InvisionBoard is a web bulletin board system.
- phpBB - phpBB is a popular Open Source bulletin board package.
- AdvancedGuestBook - Advanced Guestbook is a PHP-based guestbook script.
 Agora Shopping Cart
The Agora Shopping Cart is a free shopping cart program that installs with 1 click. You can find documentation and FAQ's for normal installation at http://www.agoracart.com/. Advanced upport can optionally be obtained through a mailing list setup specifically for Agora Users for a small fee of $25.00 per year. Please be aware that installing the Agora Shopping Cart will use one MySQL database, and needs to be installed into a top level directory i.e. http://yourdomain.com/acart is a valid place to install the forum, but that http://yourdomain.com/user/andy/acart is not.
 Cron Jobs
The Cron Jobs Interface will allow you to run commands repeatedly at any time you specify. Just enter the command to run as well as which time to run the command. Use this only if you have repetitive functions and you have a good understanding of coding.

 Network Tools
- Domain Lookup - Enter a domain name, nameserver, or IP address to look up and view the DNS Results and Zone Information.
- Trace Route - Allows you to trace the IP (Internet Protocol) route taken by your server to reach your current ISP (Internet Service Provider).

 MIME Types
Mime types tell your browser how to handle files. Use this function to enable your site to handle different file extensions. Lists all "system defined" mime types, and allows you to add/remove your own "user defined" mime types. There is usally no need to use this function, because most file types are already enabled.
Warning: Make sure you check the list of pre-existing Mime types before adding new ones, or your website may not work properly.
 Apache Handlers
Apache handlers tell the server how to handle files. Use this to add custom apache handlers. This is rarely needed.
Warning: Changes can adversely alter the way your website functions.
Manage OpenPGP Keys
Use this function to install a pgp encrypted keyNote. OpenPGP is a tool for secure online communication. Cpanel uses GnuPG for its public-key cryptography so that users may communicate securely. You will first need to obtain a key via http://www.pgpi.org/ or http://www.pgp.com/
 HotLink Protection
Use this to prevent Hotlinking - which is when another web site owner links directly to one or more of your images or multimedia files and includes it on their web page. Not only is this theft of your intellectual property, you are paying for the bandwidth used by that site.
Index Manager
The index manager will allow you to turn indexes on or off for a directory. If indexes are off, people will not be able to see what files are in a directory that lacks an index file.
IP Deny Manager
Use the IP Deny Manager to prevent users from accessing your site. You need to know what their IP Address is (ex. 206.41.345.92), then you just add them to your list. You can also allow access by removing an Address from the IP Deny List.
